The Coastal Experiences West: Lost Valley Run, March 13th - 18th, 2011

Even more amazing rainforest trails. Great rafting and incredible waterfalls and waterfall rapells. An unforgettable week full of adventure for individuals or teams. This is our first TCE event where we will also offer a team category. Being part of a team will not affect your individual ranking which will be kept separately.

Here's what's in store for you. Seven nights, seven days, and five race stages.  We'll have results available each night so individuals and teams will know where they stand. 
We'll also have down time so that you can explore on your own and enjoy the beach towns and surf scene of Dominical. Join us on this moveable feast that takes you down along  the Southern Pacific coast and coastal rainforests of one of Costa Rica's most beatiful and tropical areas.

A word about one of our favorite race hosts, Rafiki Lodge. Rafiki is situated deep within the spectacular Savegre River Valley. The surrounding rain forest is incomparably beautiful and serene and the Lodge sits right above the banks of the river.

One of Costa Rica's best kept secrets - The word "rafiki" is a Swahili word meaning friend. Rafiki's owners/operators are the Boshoffs, originally from South Africa and years ago they decided to create the look and feel of authentic African Safari Lodge and set it in the heart of the this lush, tropical river valley. For those fortunate enough to know about it the result is an unforgettable experience in a most beautiful setting.

Note - For those not interested in camping, lodging is available on a first come first serve basis. 4 nights lodging (w/out any camping throughout the week) will be available for an additional $350 per person for the week or $550 per couple.
