Events

Accomplished ultra-runners, casual runners, and student athletes of all ages will come together and compete on a course like none other. This is a rare opportunity to push the limits on a very difficult course set in the middle of paradise.

The Hermosa 24 is back and this time it's a competition! Christian is putting his own World Record up for grabs to the athlete that can complete the greatest distance on this 3.46 Mile all soft sand course in 24 hours. As much as this venue is a literal paradise, the pain and agony of suffering through relentless soft sand will challenge even the most rugged of athletes.

FOR THE KIDS
All net proceeds of this event will benefit Hermosa Beach schools (and other schools through the 100 Mile Club) to help reduce the painful deficit the Elementary and Middle Schools have been feeling the last few years. Without outside help, programs get cut, classroom sizes increase and our very special teachers are laid off. All in all, students suffer. So, we are all here to do what we can. All donations, entry fees, and pledges are tax deductible through the 100 Mile Club 501(c)3 non-profit vehicle.

SOLO AND RELAY CATEGORIES
The Hermosa 24 Ultramarathon will allow athletes to compete as a SOLO racer or in the RELAY category where up to 10 athletes can form a team with each athlete running one or more laps. This gives students of all ages, runners, ultra-athletes, wily veterans, young up-and-comers and weekend warriors a chance to compete on the same stage all at the same time.

A DESTINATION EVENT
The City of Hermosa Beach has opened up the beach to all racers and crew for the entire weekend with the pit area being located directly on the sand next to Hermosa Pier. It is literally a paradise course and fun for the entire family. It will be a weekend you will never forget - and all for a great cause.
